Who We Are
Our dedicated team provides DBT services for adults, adolescents, children, and families. We meet weekly as a DBT Consultation Team so that we can provide the highest level of treatment for our clients. We are happy to be in-network Carefirst DBT providers.
What We Do
Comprehensive DBT to help clients build a higher quality of life. We provide Individual DBT, DBT Skills Training, Coaching, and Parent Consultation.
What is DBT?
DBT was developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan to help clients more effectively manage their emotions, cope with stress, and improve relationships in order to enjoy a better quality of life.
An evidence-based treatment originally developed to treat people with chronic suicide ideation and self-injury behavior, over time DBT has been demonstrated to be highly effective in treating a wide range of issues of emotional dysregulation, including BPD, depression, substance abuse, PTSD, and eating disorders.
In Comprehensive DBT, clients participate in Individual DBT, DBT Skills Training, and Phone Coaching.
