Sosha Stecher, M.S.

Psychology Doctoral Student, DBT Trainee

Sosha earned her bachelor’s in psychology from Hamilton College in upstate New York and her master’s in clinical psychology from Loyola University Maryland, where she is currently a 3rd year doctorate student.

Prior to graduate school, Sosha worked at McLean Hospital’s 3East Partial Hospital Program, providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to adolescents presenting with emerging personality disorders, anxiety, and depression. She takes a compassionate, validating and authentic approach to therapy, often relying on mindfulness as a foundation for change. Believing that everyone is doing the best they can, she helps each client feel supported while also developing tools to cope more effectively.

In her free time, Sosha enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, collaging, cooking, and doing yoga. A New England native, she’s a bit upset that Baltimore doesn’t have enough snow in the winter to cross country ski but is very grateful for the hiking spots nearby!
